So I like a lot "the journey" concept, but I do not really see how this would catter the MMO community, unless you plan to set some kind of permanent progression.
So my first guess is that you are going for the "permanent achievements" type of game, setting some kind of elo system similar to League of Legends or Guild Wars 2 ranking, where you get distinctions for the skill level you own (e.g. Diamond Player, Legendary titles tied to account etc.)
Now what I would really love to see is the typical esque-Diablo 2 inventory with items and all those things that would transfer from Journey to Journey in a more RPG fashion, instead of starting each Journey with 0 items (which would be equivalent to the League of Legends experience).
Where is this game heading exactly in this aspect?
